A poem by Collin Wedgewood IF I COULD MAKE A GIF OF ANY MOMENT, I’D START HERE. THE MOMENT BEFORE THE ROLLERCOASTER STARTS. IN IT, WE’D BE TOGETHER IN A LOOP OF ENDLESS ANTICIPATION. WHERE NOTING HAS BEGUN, SO NOTHING HAS GONE WRONG. WHERE NOTHING’S BEEN LOST AND NOBODY’S SORRY. EVERYTHING’S FINE BECAUSE NOBODY’S ANYWHERE. THERE’S JUST THE IDEA OF THE RIDE AND THE PROMISE IT HOLDS. WHERE WE WANT TO GO AND WHAT IT MIGHT TAKE TO GET THERE. WHEN WE WILL BE MEETING WITH THE SKY SO SOON. I’D LIKE TO MEET YOU BACK THERE. THAT’S WHERE I’D LIKE TO STAY FOR AS LONG AS I CAN.
